Khulna Varsity for excelling standard of quality education: VC Faequz Zaman

On Sunday Institute of Quality Assurance Cell under Khulna University staged a workshop on sustaining excellence in higher education: the US perspective at journo Liaquat Ali auditorium under Jagadish Chandra Bose Academy. VC of the University professor Dr Faequz Zaman in his Chief Guest speech said Khulna University is keen interested to take joint initiatives with developed universities of the globe for excelling the higher education. IQAC director professor Dr Rezaul Karim was presided over the workshop while among others, Professor Dr Ziaul Haidar fellowship winner from North Carolina State University in USA, deans, Meher Nigar overseas manager of AIBS were present on the occasion. Speaker Dr Golam M Matbar said we are continuing to keep connectivity to all universities including the US ones across the globe for improving our quality of learning and teaching skills so that teachers, students could easily cope up with other standard universities of the universe.
Inter hall sports & cultural competition held

Inter hall sports & cultural competition under Khulna University was held on Sunday afternoon. Provost Professor Dr Sarwar Jahan of Bangabandhu Sheikh Muzibur Rahman Hall inaugurated the event while Dr Sardar Shafiqul Islam provost of Khan Bahadur Ahsan Ullah Hall and provost (Current charge) Muhammad Nuruzzaman were present on the occasion.

Star, Prothom alo spreading calumny Against me, says Sheikh Hasina

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday made a scathing
attack on the editors of English-language daily
The Daily Star and Bangla daily
Prothom Alo, alleging that
the newspapers have
been spreading
calumny against
her for the last
two decades.

The prime minister brought the accusation
while speaking at a discussion on
International Mother Language
Day organised by Bangladesh
Awami League at the
 Bangabandhu
International
 Conference
Centre in
Dhaka.
